Membership Payments

Membership payments will automatically be made on the 1st of each month.  If a payment is not paid by the 10th of the month, there will be a LATE FEE of $25 added to your account.
 

Memberships include no classes during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, President's Day Holiday,  and Spring Break.

All students must be registered with a signed waiver through our studio portal on our website www.yellowstagedoor.com.  All account MUST have a payment method on file for automatic payments.

Viewing the Class

Students can be dropped off, or parents can wait in the lobby during class.  There is a TV screen to view

the classesin the lobby.

What to wear

Yellow Stage Door has dance shoes, leotards, tank top and tights for purchase upon request.  If we don't have your shoe size, we'll be happy to order you the correct size.

No Food in Studios

Students are welcome to bring their own water.  We also have drinking fountains at the studio.  Food is not allowed in the studios.  You may have food and drinks in the lobby.  Thank you!

Studio Behavior

-Please DO NOT touch the mirrors in the studio, or the treadmill.

-Please DO NOT hang from the Ballet barres.

-Listen and be respectful of your instructor.

-Please arrive in appropriate attire & shoes.  Please NO jeans.

-Hair must be pulled back in a bun or ponytail.

-Please NO gum chewing.

-Please be respectful of other students and others’ personal space.

-Always thank your teacher at the end of class.

-Always be kind, do your best, & have FUN!

No Bully Policy

Yellow Stage Door maintains a zero-tolerance policy for violence, physical aggression, or physical contact with another person in a harmful or unsafe manner, unless explicitly directed by a teacher or director as part of their instruction.  Behaviors that constitutes a violation of that policy and poses a risk to others at the studio may be asked to leave the class or studio.

Absences

If your child will be not be attending a class, please let us know before their class by emailing us at info@yellowstagedoor.com.

Make-up Classes

If your child is unable to attend their class, they can make-up the class within 2 weeks. They are welcome to make-up any class that's in the same age level. 

Snow Days

Due to harsh weather, we may cancel classes for the day.  Students are welcome to make-up their class within 2 weeks of their canceled class.  It is optional to make-up classes and not required.  

Class Withdraw

If your child needs to withdraw from a class, you must notify info@yellowstagedoor.com by the 25th of the month and your account will not be charged the next month. 

No refunds

There are no refunds on memberships for classes, lessons or musicals, and performance fees,  once they've been paid for the month.  If you choose to cancel your classes, lessons or musical, there will be no refunds once they have been paid.

If you choose to cancel for a camp or an event, that credit can be used at Yellow Stage Door for 1 year.  If we cancel a camp or an event, you can use the credit towards other classes, camps, and event within 1 year, or you can request for a refund within 30 days of the cancellation notification.
